A Surrey church has felt the force of Storm Eunice as strong winds batter the UK today (18 February).

Police in Surrey Heath posted an update on Facebook demonstrating just how powerful the storm is after part of a roof tower was blown off a church on Caesar Camp Road in Camberley.

No-one was hurt during the incident.

More on Storm Eunice

The strongest wind ever felt in England's been provisionally set - after a gust of one-hundred and twenty-two miles per hour was recorded on the Isle of Wight.

The red warning brought by Storm Eunice covering the south-west of England and parts of Wales has now expired.

One still covers the south-east and London including Surrey and East Hampshire.

Dozens of flights are cancelled, trains across the whole of Wales are off - and there's problems on the ferries too.

General advice is still not to go out, unless you have to.
