Protesters who climbed onto the roof of a building in Guildford have been arrested, say Surrey Police.

The force say three people targeted the Allianz Insurance building in Ladymead. They believe the group are from the pro-Palestinian protest network Palestine Action.

The protesters climbed onto a glass canopy above the main entrance to the building on Tuesday (8 October).

A team of officers who are trained in the removal of protesters at height were sent to Guildford and the group were safely removed.

Surrey Police say a man and two women were arrested on suspicion of aggravated trespass and criminal damage. Enquiries remain ongoing.
