Police investigating reports of a family being spat at while at Thorpe Park have released CCTV of four boys they want to identify.

It follows an appeal by officers last week over an incident at the attraction in Chertsey on 6 June.

In a statement Surrey Police said: “The eight year-old victim, who was with her family, was at the theme park between 6pm-7pm when the family was approached by four teenage boys who started spitting at them.

“The parents were concerned that their eight-year-old daughter had been deliberately targeted because she has a shaved head due to cancer treatment.”

The force added: “We are now releasing a photograph of four boys we would like to identify as part of this ongoing investigation.

“Surrey Police are working collaboratively with Thorpe Park on this investigation.”

Anyone who recognises the boys in the image or witnessed the incident is asked to call 101, quoting PR/45210059001.
