Police issue warning after rural burglaries in Hart
Officers are conducting extra patrols
A warning has gone out to people who live in rural areas in Hart following several burglaries in Hook and Odiham.
They are asking residents to be vigilant after three incidents this month.
On 10 October, between 5pm and 10pm, a fork lift truck and trailer were stolen from a property in Hound Green, Mattingley.
The items were later recovered in Beaconsfield.
On 14 October, at around 3.30am, suspects forced their way into a garage in Alton Road in Odiham, and stole garden machinery including strimmers, hedge cutters and a back pack leaf blower.
On the same date and at around the same time, a quad bike and various power tools, including a strimmer, were stolen from a garage, also in Alton Road in Odiham.
Another burglary toook place on 14 October in London Road, Hook. Police say suspects broke into a container on the property, between 2am and 4.50am, and stole a quantity of alcohol and energy drinks.
Officers are now conducting extra patrols in the area.
Country Watch officer PC Lee Stanbrook said they wanted to "reassure residents that we take these incidents extremely seriously.
"We will be conducting extra patrols around the district both during the day and overnight."

PC Stanbrook also said if locals spot anyone "acting suspiciously", they should get in touch with the police.
