Police investigate assault outside Camberley pub

Surrey Police are trying to find the victim of an assault outside a pub in Camberley on Friday night (19 January).

Officers were called following an altercation between two groups of men outside the Wetherspoons on the High Street some time between 11:45pm and midnight.

The suspect pushed the victim out of the pub and into a black Honda Civic car that was parked on the road causing damage to the vehicle. The victim then left the scene.

The victim has been described as a short man of large build with dark hair. He was wearing a red and black puffa jacket.

One man has been arrested for the affray and criminal damage and released on bail pending further enquiries.
