Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Aldershot.

Police were called to Grosvenor Road following a report that a man in his 40s had been assaulted by three men.

He was attacked in the early hours of Saturday, at around 330am, and officers believe the assault may have taken place on Victoria Road.

The victim suffered a head injury and a serious leg injury and was taken to hospital.

Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries and it is believed the assault may have taken place on Victoria Road.
