Police appeal after dog stolen from Cranleigh
The Jack Russell was taken by a man in a silver Mercedes
Surrey Police are appealing for information after a Jack Russell was stolen, having become separated from her owner whilst out on a walk on Cranleigh common.
She was picked up by a male who called her over in a silver Mercedes near Repair Craft on the B2130 yesterday afternoon (12 January) at approximately 3.20pm.
Officers say she has yet to be reunited with her owner and are asking whoever has her to call 101, or take her to a vet to be scanned so she can be reunited with her family.
In a statement the force added: “We are currently looking into a number of lines of enquiry but could really do with your help.
“If you have any information on where this dog is please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference 45210003767 or anonymously through Crime-stoppers.”
