The head of Woodlea Primary School says the vandalism of their outdoor learning area over the weekend is “soul destroying”.

Jo Mumford, who is the head teacher at the school in Bordon, arrived this morning to find the devastation to the woodland area – used by students for outdoor learning.

Pictures of the damage show folders and other items strewn across the ground, while graffiti was also drawn of a swastika and the letters "kkk".

The incident has been reported to Hampshire Constabulary, with the school also appealing for anyone with information relating to the incident to call the school office.

Jo added: “At present, I do not know the full cost of the damage but there are things that have been damaged beyond repair.

“It is soul destroying to see an area that children access daily for their learning, has been vandalised once again.

“Thankfully, our site manager was able to tidy up the area so that our children were able to access their outdoor learning today.”

Woodlea Primary School has thanked members of the community who have “kindly offered support and help” following the damage.
