Plans for new 600 space multi-storey at Guildford's Royal Surrey Hospital
The Trust said it recognised the "real struggle" for patients to park there
Guildford's Royal Surrey County Hospital has shared plans for a new multi-storey car park, with up to 600 spaces.
It would replace an existing surface level car park in Rosalind Franklin Close, which currently offers 406 parking spots.
Plans also include using part of the site for a private oncology outpatient centre.
Ross Dunworth, Director of Finance for Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, said: "Local residents are aware that we have outgrown our parking capacity and that it can be a real struggle to park at our main hospital.
“A new staff car park will benefit patients and staff alike as it will enable us to move staff spaces away from the hospital site and free up 150 of these spaces for patients.
“We hope local citizens will offer their support to Royal Surrey and its staff by taking the time to view plans and leave feedback."
