Pedestrian dies following crash in Guildford
A man has died following a serious crash on the A25 in Guildford.
Emergency services were called to Ladymead on Wednesday afternoon (9 February).
The dual carriageway was shut for several hours in both directions from the Magnet showroom by Burger King up to the roundabout that leads on to the A3.
In a post on Facebook Guildford Police confirmed a pedestrian had died:
"Sadly a pedestrian, a 56-year-old man, was declared dead at the scene.
"His next of kin have been informed.
"We thank the public for their patience today and for their support and condolences
"Our thoughts remain with all of those who were involved in today's collision."
