New witness appeal over Alton robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage in connection with a robbery in Alton.

The incident happened at the Holybourne Post Office, London Road, at around 6.08am on Thursday 7 October.

A man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

In a statement Hampshire Constabulary said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who has CCTV or dash-cam footage in the area from 6am to 6.30am on 7 October.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone with footage showing a man wearing an orange hoody and riding a bicycle.
