Spelthorne Borough Council has announced the introduction of outdoor gyms in parks throughout the Borough.

In a bid to help residents get more active following the Coronavirus pandemic, 10 new outdoor gyms are being installed in parks in Ashford, Laleham, Shepperton, Staines-upon-Thames, Stanwell Moor and Sunbury from the beginning of April.

Outdoor gyms are a great way to enjoy the outdoors and exercise at the same time. They are free to use, suitable for all fitness levels and offer a variety of equipment for cardio workouts, strength, balance and flexibility, including parallel bars, weight systems, bikes, benches, health walkers, cross trainers and air walkers.
