Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital following M25 crash

The incident saw part of the route shut for several hours.

An investigation is underway into a serious collision that saw part of the M25 closed through the morning rush hour.

It follows a crash involving a motorbike and a minibus on the anticlockwise side between junctions 11 and 12 at Chertsey shortly before 1am this morning (18 November).

The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

Emergency services shut the road for several hours, with the route reopening again before 10am.

Police are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone with information to call 101, quoting PR/45200122299.
