Police looking to locate a 35-year-old man, missing from Cobham, have found a body in the River Mole.

The discovery was made just before 3pm yesterday.

Formal identification is yet to take place.

Simon Harrison was last seen leaving his home in the town at around 2.30am on Saturday 3 April.

He was reported missing on Thursday.

Police say his family members are being supported by specially-trained officers.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the man's death - which are not believed to be suspicious - are ongoing.
