Fog warning issued across Surrey and East Hampshire
It could disrupt any essential travel

The Met Office has issued a weather alert for fog until mid-morning today.
For those undertaking essential travel there is a risk of delays to public transport, as well as difficult driving conditions.
The alert is in place until 10am this morning.
Surrey and East Hampshire's five day Met Office forecast:
Today:
A grey and murky start, with extensive low cloud and fog, which will slowly lift to give some bright or occasional sunny spells, especially inland. Staying murky on the coast. Some showers moving up from the south during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
Tonight:
Cloudy with some showers moving slowly east during the evening. Cloud increasing across most parts overnight with areas of extensive low cloud, mist and fog. Some patchy drizzle at times. Minimum temperature 5 °C.
Thursday:
Cloudy with patchy drizzle at first, with low cloud lifting to give limited bright spells. A band of occasional rain will move southwards during the afternoon. Drier and colder later. Maximum temperature 6 °C.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
High pressure will bring fine, dry and settled conditions on Friday and into the weekend. Decent spells of sunshine by day, with widespread frosts overnight. Feeling cold.
