Men charged after man stabbed in head in Woking

The victim needed hospital treatment following the incident

Two men have been charged after a man was stabbed in the head in Woking.

It follows an incident in Omega Road on 21 July at around 10.45pm.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been released.

Yasser Shahmuradi, 18, of York Road, Guildford, has been charged with two counts of affray and one count of possession of a bladed article. He has been released on bail with the condition not to enter Surrey.

Usman Islam, 21, of Tintagel Road, Woking, has also been charged with affray, possession of a bladed article and wounding with intent. He has been remanded in custody.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man from Woking arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of a bladed article has been released on bail.

Surrey Police added that the investigation remains ongoing and that they are still appealing for any witnesses to call 101, quoting PR/ 45210077533.
