Woman approached by man with a knife in Hampshire country park

A woman has told police she was approached by a man, armed with a knife, at a local park.
Officers from Hampshire Police are appealing for information and witnesses after the incident at the Hartland Country Park in between Fleet and Farnborough.
The incident happened in the woodland area opposite the car park, on Bramshot Lane, between 5pm and 6pm on Friday 27 September.
The woman was able to run away from the scene. She was not assaulted and no injuries have been reported.
The man has been described as white, in his late 30s, 6ft tall and of medium build.
He had short dark brown hair and stubble and was wearing a grey hoodie, light jeans and wellies.
Police Sergeant Lee Bishop, from the Farnborough Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are looking for anyone who was in the area at the time to come forward with any information, no matter how small they think it to be.
“Did you see anyone in the area matching the description, did you see any suspicious behaviour or did you see any vehicles you think might be linked? If so please call 101, quoting 44240420764.”
