Man who murdered elderly mother in Woking due to be sentenced today
He was found guilty at the Old Bailey earlier this week.

A man who murdered his mother at their family home in Woking is due to be sentenced today (8 October).
47 year Phillip Tarver was found guilty on Monday (5 October) following a four week trial at the Old Bailey.
Police found the body of Angela Tarver at her house in Julian Close in the town on 19 December last year.
Tarver, who lived at the same address, was arrested at the scene in and detained under Section 2 of the Mental Health Act.
He was later charged with murder and threats to kill.
Detective Inspector Chris Rambour from the Surrey and Sussex Major Crime Team said:
“Our thoughts remain with Angela’s friends and family at this time who have been left devastated by her death.
"I hope that the verdict reached today will bring them some form of closure and allow them to begin to move on with their lives.
“I would like to thank all those who gave evidence, as well as the investigating team, whose contribution ensured that Philip Tarver has been brought to justice for Angela’s death.”
