Man suffers broken leg after assault in Epsom

Police are looking for witnesses

Police are looking for witnesses after a man was left with a broken leg, following an assault in Epsom.

It happened in the early hours of Sunday morning, at appoximately 12:30am, near the junction with Station Approach.

The victim was knocked unconscious, also suffering cuts to the back of his head.

Officers are trying to trace a couple, a man and a woman, seen in the area at the time.

The man is descirbed as being in his 20s, around 5ft 4in tall and of slim build. He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark blue jeans.

The woman is described as being of slim build, around 5ft 2in, with shoulder-length hair. She was wearing a grey and white top.
