Man found seriously injured in Woking town centre

Police believe he was assaulted

Surrey Police are investigating what they believe to be an assault on a man in Woking town centre at the weekend.

Officers were called to Church Street, at around 2.15pm on Sunday (8 August), following reports that a man had been found with serious injuries.

The area was cordoned off while he was treated by paramedics.

A 38-year-old man was arrested at the scene and has since been released on bail with conditions.
