Man seriously injured in Haslemere stabbing
Surrey Police are now appealing for anyone who saw anything to come forward
Police are investigating after a man was left seriously injured after being stabbed in Haslemere.
Officers were called to an address on Border Road at around 9.30am yesterday morning (22/04). They found a man in his 20s with a stab wound to his address.
He was taken to hospital, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
Police think the suspect fled the scene, and are now asking for anyone with information to contact them.
He is described as a white man in his 20s. He was said to be wearing a dark blue tracksuit bottoms and a dark tracksuit top with a green puffed jacket that had a navy patch on the shoulder.
Detective Inspector Tom Griffin said: “There was a significant police presence in the area this morning and we know this will have caused concern in the local community.
"We would like to reassure residents that we are doing everything we can to locate the suspect, who we believe was known to the victim.”
