Man seriously injured in Ashtead hit and run
Police are now hunting for a dark or grey coloured people carrier
A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a crash close to Ashtead train station yesterday evening.
It happened at around 5:30pm on Woodfield Lane. A car hit a pedestrian then drove away from the scene.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are now hunting for a dark or grey coloured people carrier when went in the direction of the station.
Officers think it may have had a licence plate starting with EH11.
