Warning to keep vehicles secure after man seen trying door handles in Farnham

Police are investigating several incidents

Police are looking into several reports of a man trying door handles in Farnham.

There were three incidents last Friday (22 October) , between around 5:15 am and 5:30am, in the Newmans Court and Folly Hill area.

Officers say he did not manage to gain access and nothing was stolen.

They have issued a description of him as part of an investigation, describing him as wearing a hooded top with a baseball cap underneath.

Police are urging people to make sure their vehicles are secure, without anything valuable left inside, in and preferably parked in a well-lit area, or a locked garage.

They also suggest residents install security lights and CCTV on driveways.

If anyone has seen anything relating to the incidents, they are asked to report it to Surrey Police, quoting reference 45210111701 (Newmans Court) or 45210111833 (Folly Hill), via:
