Man attacked at Woking home after suspects break in through front door

Police are investigating a serious attack on a man at his home in Woking.

Officers received a report that three men had broken in through the front door of the property in Victoria Road.

One of the suspects was carrying a pole, which was used to hit the victim's dog.

The trio then reportedly assaulted the victim, demanding money.

He managed to get away to a safe place and call the police.

Police were contacted at around 8am, about a report of an aggravated burglary in progress - but by the time they arrived the suspects had gone.

The victim was taken to hospital and discharged with minor injuries.

An appeal is now out for witnesses or any information.

Officers have issued the following descriptions of the suspects:

  • The man carrying the pole is described as described as white, slim, slightly shorter than 6ft and wearing a dark tracksuit. He was wearing a hat underneath his dark hoodie as well as a black mask.
  • The other two suspects are described as white and slim and wearing hoodies.

All three had local accents and were in their twenties or younger.
