Man assaulted in Bagshot dies in hospital
A 37-year-old man from Bracknell who was assaulted in Bagshot has passed away in hospital.
Surrey Police attended reports of an assault on Bagshot High Street at around 10am on Thursday, 15 June.
The man was taken to hospital where he remained until his death on Thursday, 6 July.
38 year old Darren Makepeace of Wensley Road, Reading, was charged on Friday, 16 June with causing grievous bodily harm.
He remains in police custody whilst the investigation continues.
