A man has been arrested in Surrey on suspicion of terrorism offences.
The address took place at an address in the Redhill area this morning (8 January), with the help of officers from Surrey Police, as part of an ongoing investigation by detectives from Counter Terrorism policing South East (CTPSE).
The 47 year old was arrested under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act (2006).
It is linked to Islamist terrorism - and a search is continuing at the address.
Officers say it is believed there is no imminent threat to the public.
