Child seriously hurt and man arrested after collision in Dunsfold

Police in Surrey want to hear from witnesses after a child was left seriously injured in a collision in Dunsfold.

A Tesla and Vauxhall collided between Chapel Hill and Wrotham Hill yesterday evening (24th November) at around 5:25pm - with reports of one of the drivers leaving the scene.

Officers say a 20 year old man has since been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, along with other offences including driving without a license and leaving the scene of a road traffic collision.

The child, who was a passenger in one of the cars, has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
