Man arrested after three vehicle crash in Chipstead
Police were called to Hazelwood Lane on Saturday night
A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink or drug driving after a serious crash in Chipstead on Saturday.
Police were called to Hazelwood Lane at around 5:50pm.
One of the drivers, a 40 year old man, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of being under the influence behind the wheel and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police are now searching for information about the circumstances of the crash and want to hear from anyone who captured dashcam footage at the time.
