Man arrested after car and cyclist collide in Dorking

A cyclist was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

A 49 year old man from Dorking was arrested at the scene on suspicion of driving whilst over the limit and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.

Police are now appealing for any witnesses who might have seen a silver Toyota driving erratically in the area before the incident.
