'Serious collision' closes part of the M3 in Hampshire

Hampshire Police urged motorists to avoid the M3 near Fleet after a serious collision.

Part of the southbound carriageway was closed at junction 4A, while emergency services dealt with the incident.

A diversion put in place via Fleet Services is no longer in place and any delays are expected to ease.

The closed section of the motorway has since reopened.
