Update on missing man Kiran Pun as bus passenger comes forward

The police investigation continues

A passenger who was on the same bus as a man who went missing in north Hampshire has come forward.

Hampshire Police has thanked everyone who shared their appeal, as they sought to identify a bus passenger who left the bus at the same time as missing man, Kiran Pun.

Pun, who's 36 years old, was last captured by CCTV leaving a bus in Aldershot at around 7:30pm on the 1 December 2022. He's not been seen or heard from since.

Although from Amesbury in Wiltshire, Kiran has known links to Aldershot, Farnborough, Basingstoke, and Andover.

Since his disappearance five people have been arrested on suspicion of murder although a body has not been found.

Hampshire Police is still appealing for information about Kiran’s disappearance and an online portal has been set up where information about his whereabouts can be supplied by members of the public, including CCTV and dashcam footage.

He is described as 5ft 8in - 5ft 9in and has short, black hair, brown eyes, and a slim face and a scar on his chin.
