Police say the woman or girl was seen being put into a vehicle in First Avenue on Thursday 2nd November.
Detectives are investigating reports of a woman or girl being put into a car in Walton-on-Thames on Thursday (2nd November).
Officers were called at around 8pm after receiving reports that a person, believed to be a woman or girl, had been put into a silver car on First Avenue.
The car, which is believed to be a silver Volkswagen Polo, was then driven off in the direction of Garden Road. It is not clear whether the person was put in the car against her will, and so we are working to establish the exact circumstances.
Detective Inspector Adam Ramiz said:
“Since the concern for safety was reported to us, we have been conducting a number of enquiries within the local area to help us to identify the person and car involved. We want to ensure that she is safe, and so I would ask anyone with any information to contact us immediately.”
