Guildford student makes song as tribute to grandad
Louis Hearsey hopes the song will help others going through grief.
A student studying in Guildford has released his first ever song as a tribute to his grandad.
Louis Hearsey is a 19 year old singer-songwriter from Brighton, who studies in Guildford.
Louis's song, 'Sunshine', explores Louis dealing with the loss of one of such an important figure in his life.
He hopes that the song can help others deal with their own grief.
"The song explores my memories of having such a significant figure in my life disappear from our world and my process in which I dealt with losing him."
"It took me a day or so to get the main feel of the song just right. I wanted it not only be something that me and my family could connect with, but also in the wider scheme of things for anyone in the world who may be struggling with grief to be able to listen and feel."
