Flood warnings issued for a number of places in Surrey

Due to heavy rain, the warnings have been put in place.

A number of flood alerts have been put in place for areas including River Mole and its tributaries from Kinnersley Manor to South Hersham.

The Environment Agency have stated that river levels around Leatherhead and Cobham remain high.

Areas which are included in flood warnings include Brockham, Dorking and Cobham.

This follows the yellow weather warning that lasts until 4pm from the Met Office for rain.

The yellow weather warning states:

"A spell of persistent, and at times heavy rain is likely to cause some flooding impacts."
