Flood alert issued for Surrey and East Hampshire

It is for the Upper River Wey.

Parts of Surrey and East Hampshire have been put on flood alert as water levels at the Upper River Wey continue to rise.

The prolonged heavy rain means farmland and roads could be flooded this afternoon, presently residential property flooding is not expected.

Flooding is possible for: Upper River Wey including Alton, Farnham, Bordon, Frensham, Tilford, Godalming, Guildford and Peasmarsh.
