Flood alert issued for River Wey including Guildford, Farnham and Frensham
It follows some heavy rainfall over the weekend
A flood alert has been issued by the Environment Agency for the River Wey in Surrey and East Hampshire.
It means flooding is possible in: Alton, Farnham, Bordon, Frensham, Tilford, Godalming, Guildford and Peasmarsh.
It follows a weekend where we saw some heavy rainfall.
The Environment Agency says they are monitoring the situation closely and property flooding is not currently expected.
