Flood alert issued for River Wey including Guildford, Farnham and Frensham
We have seen a day of heavy rainfall with more expected overnight
A flood alert has been issued by the Environment Agency for the River Wey in Surrey and East Hampshire.
It means flooding is possible in: Alton, Farnham, Bordon, Frensham, Tilford, Godalming, Guildford and Peasmarsh.
We have seen a day of heavy rainfall and we could see more overnight.
The Environment Agency says they are monitoring the situation closely and property flooding is not currently expected.
