Police investigate deliberate fires in Surrey Heath

There have been three fires over the last few weeks

Surrey Police are investigating a series of fires in Surrey Heath which they believe have been started deliberately.

The first incident happened on Tuesday, 11 March within a wooded area between Guildford Road and the A322, Lightwater at around 5.15pm.

The second incident was on on Tuesday, 18 March within a protected wildlife area of Swinley Forest, Bagshot at around 2.20pm.

A third incident was reported on Wednesday, 3 April in a wooded area near Coleford Bridge Road and The Quays, Mytchett at around 2.20pm.

On each occasion, Surrey Fire and Rescue safely put the fire out.

Surrey Police are investigating the fires and they are asking people to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, particularly in wooded or common land areas.
