Fire at retail unit in Guildford

It caused around six to 10 square metres of damage

There has been a fire at a retail unit in Guildford.

It happened at around 7.10pm yesterday (7 May) in Woodbridge Meadows, with crews from Guildford and Woking attending the scene.

The blaze caused around six to 10 square metres of damage.

Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one fan.

Surrey Fire & Rescue Service has confirmed it is being treated as "accidental".
