Firefighters have been tackling a blaze overnight which ripped through a pub in a Cranleigh village.

They were called to the Windmill Inn in Pitch Hill in Ewhurst before 8:30pm last night - to find the inside and the roof ablaze.

Six fire engines were used to fight the flames through to around 7:30am this morning.

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service say there were no casualties.
