Father and daughter reportedly attacked by dog in Woking

Police are appealing for witnesses and information

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses, after a father and daughter reported being attacked by a dog in Woking.

The incident happened around 6pm on Saturday 11th September, on Pyrford Common.

It's thought to have involved a Pitbull or Staffordshire Bull Terrier type dog, which started attacking a miniature daschund.

When the father and daughter stepped in, they were both bitten and needed hospital treatment for minor injuries.

In a statement on social media, Surrey Police added: 'It is believed the dog was called Nala and belonged to an Afro-Caribbean woman.
