Elderly man seriously injured after being attacked in his Farnham home
He remains in a serious condition in hospital with a head injury.
Police have charged a man after a pensioner suffered a serious head injury during an attack at his Farnham home.
Officers were called to The Hadrians at around 5:50pm last Tuesday (3 November), following reports of an assault.
The victim remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Nicholas Leith Wellings, 57, of Romans Way in Farnham, has been charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
