The MP for East Hampshire has become the one of the latest to quit Boris Johnson's government.
At least 50 MPs have handed in their resignations in the last 24 hours.
Damian Hinds has left his post as Security minister saying:
"It shouldn't take the resignation of dozens of colleagues, but for our country, and trust in our democracy, we must have a change of leadership."
Last night the Prime Minister sacked Surrey Heath MP Michael Gove - after the levelling up secretary told him to go.
The Boris Johnson has faced multiple resignations after Downing Street admitted he had known about allegations of inappropriate behaviour against MP Chris Pincher, before he was appointed as Deputy Chief Whip in February.
The Prime Minister is fighting to stay on in Downing Street and has remained defiant, telling the Liaison Committee yesterday it would be "irresponsible" to walk away now.
