E-fit released by Hampshire Police as part of Farnborough attempted abduction investigation

Police are investigating the attempted abduction of a teenage girl in Farnborough.

The incident occurred between 3.30pm and 3.45pm on Friday 9 September.

It was reported that a vehicle, which has been described as a 2008 silver Ford Focus, had been seen to drive past the teenager on multiple occasions during a 10-minute period.

The girl was walking along Alexandra Road, between Boundary Road and Reading Road, when a man got out of a car and tried to grab her arm and drag her towards his vehicle.

The girl managed to break-free and flee from the man, before she was seen to enter another vehicle and was driven away from the scene.

The man is described as being white, late 20s / early 30s, approximately 5ft 10ins tall with light brown hair slicked to the right-hand side.

He was seen wearing a grey sweatshirt and grey jogging bottoms at the time of the incident.

Since this incident was reported, officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries, and now have this e-fit image to release to the public.
