E-fit released after 90 year old woman's handbag and phone stolen in Farnborough

An E-fit has been released by Hampshire Police after a 90 year old woman had her handbag and phone stolen in Farnborough.

The incident happened at around 6pm on Tuesday (1 December) in Westglade.

The suspect entered the victim's home, which was insecure and she was in her living room when he walked in.

The suspect took her mobile phone and handbag before leaving the property.

The victim was unhurt and immediately called police.

The suspect is described as being over 40 and wearing a tweed-style jacket and a woolly hat.

Police would like to hear from anyone in the Westglade/Southwood Road area who finds a red purse or black handbag and an inexpensive mobile phone (not a smart phone) that may have been discarded.

Officers would also like to reassure residents that extra patrols are taking place in the area following reports of burglaries in the last month.
