Driver arrested after crashing into Guildford traffic lights

Surrey Police have arrested a driver after hitting traffic lights in Guildford.
Shortly after 3am this morning (January 28) Guildford Beat were on the scene after the vehicle struck the traffic lights by Onslow Street.
Police were already in the area due to the nightclubs and other venues closing for the night.
In a statement on Twitter, Surrey Police said
"Shortly after 0300, this vehicle struck the traffic lights by Onslow Street.
"Police were on scene immediately due to venues emptying and initial medical attention was given by the medic from CASINO Nightclub.
"The driver was subsequently arrested for drink drive by our RPU.
"Thankfully no injuries were caused to driver or any of the occupants of the vehicle, nor any of the many members of the public that were in the process of using the crossing..."
