Dog injured and put to sleep after dog attack in Godalming

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following a dog attack in Godalming that led to one of the animals having to be put to sleep.

Officers were called at around 10pm on Friday (25 September) to Long Gore following reports that a dog had attacked another dog.

When police arrived at the scene two injured dogs were found there.

A 53 year-old man has been arrested, interviewed and bailed while the investigation continues and his dog handed over to Surrey Police.
