Police have warned potential troublemakers to stay away from the Aaron's Hill area of Godalming his weekend.

They say they'll be using a dispersal order from 7pm on Friday evening (11 February) to 6am on Saturday (12 February).

It will then be in place again from 7pm on Saturday to 6am on Sunday.

There has been an increase in anti-social behaviour in the area in recent weeks, and this order has been put in place to keep residents of the area safe.

The dispersal order covers the following areas:

• Aaron’s Hill Recreation Ground

• Aaron’s Hill Road

• Ock Way

• Bargate Rise

• Stone Pit Close

• Holly Lane

• The Horseshoe

A Section 35 provides police with the powers to exclude an individual from a particular area should officers believe that they are causing alarm or distress.

Borough Commander Inspector Sam Adcock said:

“Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in Waverley and this dispersal order has been granted to tackle some of the behaviour we have seen over the past few weeks.”
