Death of man in Farnham not believed to be suspicious

Police say the death of a man in a park in Farnham remains 'unexplained'.

But they say there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances or third-party involvement at this stage.

The body was found in Gostrey Meadow by the war memorial early on Tuesday morning (3 May).

Officers were called shortly before 6am by a member of the public, who had found a man unresponsive.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who was in the park between 1050pm on Monday night (2 May) and 6am on Tuesday morning.
