Police search for driver after cyclist dies in Cranleigh crash

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Cranleigh last night (27 September).

A cyclist died after a crash with a white vehicle at around 6.05pm in Horsham Road.

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop - officers are trying to find them as soon as possible.

The cyclist was treated at the scene by paramedics but was pronounced dead shortly afterwards.

His next of kin have been told and are being offered the appropriate support.
